"I was looking for the perfect painting for my boyfriend’s restaurant. While visiting the La Jolla Art & Wine Festival in San Diego, CA., I came across Nadia’s art. Because I liked her style, I commissioned her to paint me a painting of my boyfriend’s restaurant that I would offer to him as a Christmas gift. (see picture on the right). We brainstormed together on a 36”X48” painting that would fill one of the walls of the restaurant, as well as work with the colors and style of its decor. I described what I wanted in the painting (such as adding his truck, motorcycle and oars). She asked me to take a picture of the restaurant and to email it to her.
